Jess Black enjoys writing stories with heaps of action and humour. She has previously co-written The Bindi Wildlife Adventure Series, a fictional series about helping endangered animals and The Kaboom Kid, a series about Australian cricketer David Warner as a young boy.
Jess regularly attends schools to share her knowledge of story with children and loves to inspire others to read and write. Jess teaches writing workshops and is a senior tutor at The Writers Studio where she tutors the First Draft Novel and Script Course. Jess has acted and directed in theatre and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film with Honours in Theatre Directing.
Jess lives in Newcastle with her husband, two boisterous daughters and their naughty rescue puppy named Pippi.
